Dr. Dt. Sevgi Kaptıkaçtı Akar, born on September 1, 1994, completed her primary and secondary education in İzmir. She graduated from İzmir Anatolian Teacher High School in 2012 and obtained her degree in Dentistry from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2018.
She then completed her PhD in Orthodontics at İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Department of Orthodontics, earning the title of Orthodontist (PhD). During her doctorate studies, she attended numerous courses, seminars, and congresses.
She has intermediate-advanced English proficiency and is a member of the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD) and the Aligner Association (AD-AS).
Combining her strong academic background with the latest digital technologies, she focuses on achieving balanced, long-term results from both an aesthetic and functional perspective.
In her treatment approach, she not only considers the appearance of teeth but also jaw joint health, muscle balance, and breathing functions, adopting a functional and holistic perspective.
She particularly specializes in adult orthodontics, clear aligner treatments, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders, digital and aesthetic treatment planning, and interdisciplinary treatment approaches.
Within the scope of dental tourism, she provides customized, planned, and comfortable treatment processes for international patients, offering English communication support. Since 2018, Dr. Kaptıkaçtı Akar has been actively practicing, currently serving patients at Dentilla Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in İzmir.
